New York City homicide detective Vincent LaMarca has forged a long and distinguished career in law enforcement, making a name for himself as a man intensely committed to his work. But this murder investigation is drawing Vincent home to Long Beach, the self-proclaimed City by the Sea, where the past has been waiting for him to return. The agonizing memory that has tortured him all his life—the death of his father, a convicted murderer who was executed when Vincent was just a boy—still plagues him. In the course of the investigation, he discovers that his own unresolved pain and failures as a father have deeply influenced Joey's life, and now his 18-month-old grandson may be fated to follow their self-destructive paths.

I thought this City by the Sea Crime was very good. It undoubtedly had great players (to name a few) Robert De Niro, Francais McDormand, James Franco and Eliza Dushku. Definitely has a dark and creepy feeling ... and watching, you can imagine how bad life is a drug addict. A great story of father-son with the romance (between Vince and Michelle Lamarca). It also shows how you can influence people in different ways. One way is to explain how Vince after leaving Joey, is now easier and easier not to see it all the time. As he says, you can see that Gina is considering all this, then it will be some cigarettes and never returned. It is one of those films to look and judge for yourself. Personally, I think that this film: City by the Sea won a 9 / 10.

The problem with this DVD movie City by the Sea is that it has real substance, the real integrity. Men do not like because it's too serious, and the bodycount is relatively low. Women do not like it because the message is for men. But that has not mistake about this image. It is the story of the first class with a first group of actors. And the result is a terrible image that is not predictable (no matter what other reviewers might say). City By The Sea is a dark, unforgiving look at a dysfunctional family. This is the weakness and imperfection of a father who chose to retire rather than fight for his son during a divorce. Shows the almost total destruction of the child based on the absence of his father. But it also tells the story of a father of epiphany, a son of salvation, and brutal truths which guides the DVD film City by the Sea into one of the most convincing denouements I've seen in years. No, this DVD film City by the Sea is not for everyone. If you go to the cinema just by distraction, choose another movie. If you bring a clicker for the DivX Movie City by the Sea so you can count the number of dead and maimed, it will disappoint. But if you want to see some great artisans dissect some sensitive issues and to do so, while construction of a very intriguing whodunit, this is your movie. A score of 6.2 reviewer I wonder who is doing the review.

See, this City by the Sea Crime never had a chance in Hollywood because of U.S. criticism people always want to see some shoot-em-up action DivX film City by the Sea flying bullets when police believe a theater. I thought it was great, is not about some officers in search of a murderer who turns out to be his son. It's neglect and fault of the nature and consequences of decisions. Robert DeNiro plays Vincent La Marca, a distinguished New York police that the father was executed for kidnapping foiled when Vince only 8. Vincent lived in an apartment building in Manhattan and spends most nights with his girlfriend / neighbor (McDormand in a wonderful paper) which is completely in the dark of his past. Her junkie son Joey (Franco, who gives a great performance) still lives in Long Beach and has a son with his girlfriend Gina (Dushku, a great job as a single mother / recovery addict) who will never see. Both Vincent and Joey are affected by neglect. Vince struggles with his father and the implementation of Joey deeply affected by her father to walk on it. They have not seen in a long time until a tragic event that pulls together. Joey killed a man in self-defense drugs and Vincent is assigned to the case. After investigating some Vincent discovers that the suspect is Joey Nova Vincent causes your child to try to bring her child alive. Joey is also being hunted by Spider, a cold-blooded murderer that the drug dealer "employee" was the man who was killed. Overall a good DivX film City by the Sea with great performances. Go see it.

Not many of the non-professional "comment" or as many forums and never really see that Robert DeNiro is acting right at the mark. Certainly this is not "Casino," "Taxi Driver" or "Raging Bull," but it is definitely worth seeing a movie, but only by the fact that DeNiro gave all he has a mediocre script. But mediocre or not, this movie: City by the Sea was definitely not the worst and there was very poor in their delivery. Overall this is an entertaining City by the Sea Crime film with a good performance and relatively commander plot. DeNiro Best movie: "Raging Bull," "Good Fellas," "The Godfather II," "Taxi Driver" and yes, you can not forget the outstanding performance in "awakenings."

I am not surprised that men older than 30 years and women voted more than 40 years of age for this City by the Sea Crime movie higher, while boys and girls under 20 years has contributed the least votes. This is not a city and are not police, so if someone reads and what police described as a drama, it means that this person did not do well at all. The main question of this City by the Sea Crime film is fatherhood. In fact, this film: City by the Sea is all about what is the difference between being a parent or not being a parent, when you have a child. Police, city, and drugs are issues and ancillary staff and support the main theme: paternity. If you are a girl under 20 years old I advise you to do another DVD movie City by the Sea because it is not for you! Same with the boys looking for fun, because this is not going to be a lot of fun, or a thrill for you. However, if you are young, have seen this film, and you have to write something here, at least, just to be fair, you must give credit for the principal actors to do a good job to be almost as boring as their parents can be! The City by the Sea Crime film is realistic about parenthood.
